Editorial policy
How this site sources its numbers, what it verifies, how it makes money, and what to do when it is wrong.
Where the data comes from
Market data is pulled from the public, unauthenticated APIs of the 5 exchanges listed here. No API key is used or held. Every page carries the timestamp of its last successful update, and figures that are stale are labelled rather than quietly served.
What is verified, and what is not
Fee schedules are not exposed by any public API, so they are transcribed by hand from each venue's own fee page and carry the date they were checked. Any figure that has not been checked against its source is flagged in the interface and triggers a warning on the page. We would rather show a gap than a number nobody confirmed.
How rankings are decided
Every ranking on this site is computed by the published cost model and is not weighted by what a venue pays us. Where a referral rebate lowers the cost, the page says so and lets you switch it off to compare published rates like for like.
Affiliate disclosure: links to exchanges on this site are referral links. If you sign up through one, we may receive a share of the trading fees you pay. This never increases your cost -- where a rebate applies, it lowers it. Rankings on this site are computed from the cost model and are not influenced by commission rates.
Review cadence
Written guidance is reviewed at least every 90 days, and the review date is shown on the page. Fee tables are re-verified quarterly, because schedules change without announcement.

Not financial advice
This site publishes market data and cost arithmetic. It is not investment advice and no content here is a recommendation to trade. Trading perpetual futures with leverage can lose you more than you deposit.
